The beneficiaries can choose different options for cashing in their grants. Cashing in can be done via bank account direct deposits, automated teller machines, retail outlets like Pick n Pay, Shoprite, Checkers, SASSA cards, CashSend, and in cash. SASSA advises recipients to confirm how their payment will be done, and to avoid the collection points on the payment dates, as the funds will be available for collection for several days.
